Mount Apo is the tallest peak in the Philippines and sits on the southern island of Mindanao. A dormant volcano with a flat top, these conditions provide the perfect growing conditions to produce extraordinary arabica coffee.

This coffee was sourced by Verra Coffee, an organization based in the Philippines that has helped the community in the education of growing quality coffee. In addition, they help farmers with financial education so that their coffee farms are sustainable for years to come.

Proceeds from this coffee will go towards an upcoming project in late 2023 where The Black 6 Project will be traveling to Mindanao to provide medical aid and disaster relief to different communities affected by recent Typhoons.

How to choose your grind...
Everybody has their own preference for brewing coffee. We offer grinds for the following methods at the moment.
French Press – We use a coarse grind for the French press. Grind consistency is similar to that of kosher salt.
Drip - We use a medium grind with a consistency similar to table salt. Request this if you brew your coffee with a Chemex, Hario pour over or a coffee machine.
