This caturra washed coffee is the first offering from the special collaboration between Café Tío Conejo and Black 6 Coffee. It is a single origin, single farm arabica coffee direct from Café Tío Conejo in Manizales, Colombia. Every roaster has a unique style and there is no other coffee from Colombia like this one because it’s the best single origin arabica beans from Café Tío Conejo combined with the meticulous master roasting from Black 6 Coffee. Our small batch roasting brings out the dark woody aromas and toasty nutty flavors with a smooth berry and brown sugar finish.

What makes this collaboration extra special is that it will help fund the rebuilding of a school on the Café Tío Conejo farm, giving the children of the local surrounding community an opportunity to receive education in key areas such as technology, hospitality and English. Having this school will provide the children with the necessary skills to pursue better opportunities and improve their lives.

How to choose your grind...
Everybody has their own preference for brewing coffee. We offer grinds for the following methods at the moment.
French Press – We use a coarse grind for the French press. Grind consistency is similar to that of kosher salt.
Drip - We use a medium grind with a consistency similar to table salt. Request this if you brew your coffee with a Chemex, Hario pour over or a coffee machine.
